Wish it had...: no support currently for ace side counts.

Understanding the fundamentals of basic strategy and card counting is one thing... learning to apply them properly in an actual casino is completely different! If you've read any book on card counting, it seems like a simple task to learn to count cards... assign a value to each card rank, and add them up. What could be easier?

The reality is that actually counting cards in real-time, especially in the hustle-and-bustle at the tables, is no easy feat. And practicing with decks at home is a good start, but doesn't tell you how well you are doing.

That's where DeepNet Blackjack training software comes in. Their full line of products are designed to help you learn how to count cards and apply those skills in actual play of the game.

DeepNet started with a simple Basic Strategy trainer for Palm OS, and since expanded into advanced card counting, simulation software, and new desktop and handheld PDA platforms. The author is a dedicated player himself.

We've written products reviews for each of DeepNet's core Blackjack training products:

Blackjack Mentor... a Basic Strategy Trainer

DeepNet's entry-level product is Blackjack Mentor, a Basic Strategy training tool. It's not a game, nor does it have any card counting features. So what does it do?

The program has several drill and testing modes, that help you memorize and master those all-important play combinations. Do you hit hard twelve against a dealer 6? Double or hit Ace-4 versus a dealer up-card of 4? Blackjack Mentor has powerful drill and memorization modes to help you learn and practice the basic strategy plays.
